Why we are called Korsak

The korsak is the steppe fox: a small, tough animal at home on the plains that stretch from Eastern Europe deep into Central Asia. It knows the terrain, travels great distances and fends for itself. That terrain is ours too.

The corsac (Vulpes corsac): the steppe fox of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Who you work with.

A small team. From the first meeting to the reporting, you deal with the same people.

That moment is coming.

In Ukraine, people are waiting for the moment they can build again. Homes, businesses, an ordinary life. And when it comes, we want to be ready, with Dutch companies that know what they are doing and partners they can trust.

That moment is already here.

In Central Asia, it has already arrived. Uzbekistan has been opening its doors for some ten years now. Kazakhstan wants its own milk, its own food and its own industry.

They are not looking for help.
They are looking for craft.

Here, Dutch SMEs are hitting a ceiling: no people, no space, or a market that has stopped growing. There, the demand is real. We build the bridge, not as an adviser who delivers a report and leaves, but as the party that researches the opportunity, sets up your operation and then keeps it running for years.

What we steer by

Our values in everything we do for you. We never deviate from these.

The company is yours

Always, one hundred percent. We arrange, manage and report; ownership and the decision lie with you.

Look first, then talk

A site, a partner or a municipality is judged on the ground, not from a brochure. We speak to everyone we propose to you ourselves, in their own language.

The honest no

A feasibility study may end in: do not do it. We give that advice without hesitation, because an operation you close in three years is the most expensive of all.

Dutch on your side

One point of contact that speaks your language and knows your way of doing business, and that speaks Ukrainian and Russian on the other side of the table.

Numbers you can read

One report every month, in your language, prepared by someone who reads the local accounts personally and calls the bookkeeper directly.

Staying after the opening

The opening is the beginning. We stay until the operation stands on its own feet, and gladly beyond.

What we bring

A growth opportunity is judged on finance, legal structure and engineering, and in this region everything starts with the language. We bring all four ourselves.

The language and the roots

Ukrainian and Russian at the table, as a mother tongue. In Ukraine that is the qualification; in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan the working language.

The numbers

Someone who reads the local accounts personally and calls the local bookkeeper directly. Exactly what remote management demands.

The technology

Someone who assesses a production site technically: building, installations, energy, process. We do not buy that judgement in.

The structure

Someone who handles contracts, legal form, permits and the tax route in-house, in the Netherlands and there.

What we do not do

Clarity beforehand prevents disappointment afterwards.

  1. We are not sector experts

You know your product, your market and your trade better than anyone. We are the experts in getting there and staying there.

  2. We do not sell address lists

A list of names yields nothing. We only put forward people and places we have spoken to and seen ourselves.

  3. We do not promise certainty that does not exist

This region carries political, currency and security risks. We map them and help manage them. We do not gloss over them.

  4. We do not work around sanctions

Structures that circumvent the spirit of sanctions policy are not something we do. In the long run that is the biggest risk of all for you.
